“5022” is a collection rooted in dialogue—between past and present, East and West, tradition and personal experience. The name itself combines “5000,” a reference to the vast span of the five thousand years old Chinese history and cultural heritage, with “22,” representing my own twenty two years of journey shaped by a cross-cult ural life between China and the United States. Through this number, the collection becomes both a tribute and a reinterpretation—bridging millennia of aesthetic tradition with an individual, contemporary voice.
